>> Quality Control
Williamsburg Metal prides itself on its
quality. That's why we make sure that
from material sourcing and selection
to shipping, every operational step
along the way in a metal stamping
project is inspected and passed or
approved to ensure the highest quality
product created at the most efficient
level of manufacturing and service.
As the Quality Control process is
managed, each and every operation
and/or change is properly documented
and saved for future reference. Repeat
metal stamping jobs are handled much
easier because of this and a level of
metal stamping consistency in repeat
jobs is achieved that surpasses our
customers' expectations.

Deep Drawing
Deep drawing is a cold forming process in which a flat blank of sheet
metal is shaped by the action of a punch forcing the metal into a die
cavity. Deep drawing differs from other drawing processes in that the
depth of the drawn part can be greater than its diameter.
Blanking
Blanking is a process in which a part shape is removed from sheet
material by forcing a shaped punch through the sheet and into a die.
> Blanking is the initial step needed for various primary metal stamping
operations
> Blanking of metal stamping to 16" diameter
> Blanking up to 3/32" thick
> All metals
Shearing
> Shearing of metal stamping blanks and sheet metal forming
> 2 Shearing Machines
> Circular shearing to 48" diameter
> 1/8" thickness capacity
Notching
> Piercing of holes of any shape in the flat or sidewall of any formed part.
Embossing
> A well-defined cold forming of an imprint on a formed part
(name, part #,logo, etc.)
Punching
> Similar to blanking of metal stamping but punched out slug is waste
and surrounding metal is work piece. |
